Hacker Thomas Anderson lives an ordinary life until he meets the enigmatic Morpheus that leads him to the real world. In fact, time is 200 years ahead and the world is occupied by artificial intelligence machines. The machines have created a fake reality of the twentieth century, Matrix, to keep people quiet, until they succeed, taking power from the people, to rule the world. Anderson is chased by Agents, a computer in human form, because he is considered the Eminent which will lead people to victory against machines and the prevalence on Earth.
